Marco Magnone is one of the most acclaimed and sought-after authors of young adult literature in Italy. Every year, through his participation in schools, festivals, and reading groups, he meets thousands upon thousands of young readers. Among his works are the novels La mia estate indaco, Fino alla fine del fiato, La guerra di Celeste, and the illustrated book Leggi ancora Nanà (with Lorenzo Sangiò), all published by Mondadori. Together with Fabio Geda, he co-authored the successful series Berlin and I segreti di Acquamorta (Mondadori); with Manlio Castagna, he wrote the crime novel Barriera (Piemme) and, with Il Castoro, he published his first photographic novel, Love Shall Not.
He teaches at the Scuola Holden in Turin and at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, and he contributes to the artistic direction of the Storie in Cammino festival in Firenzuola. He has been nominated twice for the Premio Strega Ragazze e Ragazzi.
