
Annalisa Cuzzocrea
Journalist
Annalisa Cuzzocrea served as deputy editor of La Stampa until 2025. She holds a degree in Foreign Languages and Literature and specialized at the Journalism School of Urbino. Previously, she worked as a journalist at la Repubblica, as a writer and host for Repubblica Tv, and as a reporter for Radio Capital and Repubblica.it. At La Repubblica, she covered politics and worked as a special correspondent. She also taught a course on political reporting for the Journalism Master’s program at LUISS. In 2025, she returned to la Repubblica as editor-in-chief, correspondent, and columnist, continuing to focus on politics, economics, gender inequality, education, and institutions. She hosts the daily podcast Controvento, where she analyzes and comments on the ongoing affairs of Italian politics and society. With Piemme, she published Che fine fanno i bambini (2021), and with Rizzoli, E non scappare mai (2025) – an intense and surprising portrayal of Miriam Mafai, one of the most renowned and complex figures of 20th-century Italy, telling a story that spans from the post-war period to the present day.
