Tea for Three is a project founded in 2026 by guitarists Gavino Fonnesu, Giovanni Sanna, and Riccardo Prost. The trio explores the jazz standards repertoire through a refined and contemporary approach, where original arrangements and constant dialogue among the three guitars highlight the harmonic, rhythmic, and melodic richness of the tradition. Inspired by the famous standard Tea for Two, the group’s name instantly evokes the idea of a shared musical interplay: three independent voices weaving together in an elegant conversation driven by swing, interplay, and improvisation.
