Su Cunzertu Gavoesu is an ensemble rooted in the musical tradition of Gavoi. The project offers a repertoire inspired by Gavoi’s rich musical and cultural heritage, celebrating local roots while also embracing contemporary influences and reinterpretations. The ensemble brings together male and female musicians deeply connected to the local tradition, showcasing traditional instruments such as the organetto (diatonic button accordion), drum, triangle, and other distinctive sounds of Sardinian folk music. It is a musical journey through memory, celebration, and identity, capable of engaging audiences of all ages.
