She has authored books for kids and teenagers, and she teaches Spanish at a language high school. She was born in Asti but now lives in Castagneto Po, Turin: though the rolling hills of her birthplace remain her favourite landscape. She loves traveling to spot and photograph both common and unusual animals. She writes picture books, young adult novels, essays, and non-fiction. She enjoys exploring a wide variety of themes. She published novels and illustrated books for Splēn, Arka, Avenauta, Black Dog, Camelozampa, DeA, Edelvives, HOP!, La Martinière, OQO editora, Edizioni NPE, Narval, Nomos, Orecchio Acerbo, Pelledoca, Rapsodia, RG&C, Rizzoli, Sarbacane, Thule, Tres Tristes Tigres, and Tramuntana. She has won the Álbum Ilustrado Edelvives prize (EDELVIVES) with her book El barco volante y los personajes estrafalarios. Estintopedia earned the 2nd prize at the Piccolo Galileo awards, the 3rd prize at the G. Dosi awards, and the 2nd prize at the Legambiente’s Un Libro per l’Ambiente awards. The book was also acquired by the Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C.

Her book, Héctor o el lado optimista de la vida, received a special mention in The BRAW Amazing Bookshelf at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair (BCBF).

She also writes theatrical scripts and directs the student theatre company Las Máscaras. Since 2009, she has published around a dozen Spanish-language educational textbooks for DeAgostini CIDEB, Pearson LANG, and Loescher. She works as a translator to and from Spanish, and runs creative workshops focusing on animated reading, creative writing, and literary translation. And there is always something new brewing…
