Patrizia Maddalena Giacomina Sardo Marras was born in Alghero in 1963.
Since the age of 14, she has been by Antonio Marras’ side, with whom she has always shared both her personal and professional life. They began working together in 1987 and got married in 1989. They have two sons: Efisio Rocco and Leonardo. A graduate in Foreign Languages and Literatures, she chose to pour her heart and soul in a career in fashion, where she has overseen both the creative side – with Antonio – and the organizational aspects, eventually becoming CEO of Antonio Marras srl, a role she held until June 2023, when the company merged with the fashion group “Oniverse” under a new corporate structure. She is also responsible, with the guidance of art critic Francesca Alfano Miglietti, for the artistic direction of Nonostante Marras. She is passionate about travel, sailing, horseback riding, cinema, contemporary art, literature, and photography. More recently, she has turned to writing: she published short stories in the collection Mariti e Amiche Nemiche together with a large group of female authors, and the book La moda non è un mestiere per cuori solitari with Bompiani.
