Nadeesha Uyangoda is an Italian-speaking writer born in Sri Lanka. She is the author of the books L’unica persona nera nella stanza (66thand2nd, 2021) – winner of the Sila Prize in the “Economy and Society” category, and of the Premio Speciale Rapallo “Anna Maria Ortese” – and of Corpi che contano (66thand2nd, 2024). She published Acqua sporca (2025) with Einaudi. Additionally, she is the creator of the podcast Sulla Razza (Juventus/One Podcast), she has written for national and international media, and curates the column Il Libro for Internazionale.
