
Mattia Insolia

Mattia Insolia was born in Catania in 1995 and currently lives in Milan. He has authored several short stories, later included in various anthologies; among them Un piccolo incendio, featured in the collection Data di nascita, published by Solferino and edited by Teresa Ciabatti. He contributes to Domani, La Repubblica’s D and U, and L’Espresso. He is also an editor at Nutrimenti, where he co-curates the Greenwich Extra series alongside Loredana Lipperini and Giulia Caminito. Insolia has written three novels: Gli affamati (Ponte alle Grazie, 2020), Cieli in fiamme (Mondadori, 2023), which won the Comisso Under 35 literary prize, and La vita giovane (Mondadori, 2026).
