Marta Serafini is a journalist for the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera. She has covered conflicts in Ukraine, Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Lebanon, as well as the migrant crisis in the Mediterranean. For her war correspondence, she received several awards, including the prestigious Premiolino in 2022. She is the author of L’ombra del nemico. Una storia del terrorismo islamista (Solferino, 2020).
