
Marta Loddo
Singer and Composer
Marta Loddo is a singer and composer. In addition to her solo project for voice and loop station, she collaborates with various Sardinian musicians on different musical projects, working in jazz, improvisation, and electronic music. Regarding voice and loop station, she created the original soundtracks for two theatrical productions written and performed by author Savina Dolores Massa: Una borsa così pittoresca (2012), inspired by Antonio Gramsci’s Prison Notebooks, and Per favore non spolveratemi le ossa (2014), a tribute to Alda Merini. She created the soundscape for the performance Rabbia – 5 Studi per un Lutto by dancer Elena Annovi, with whom she also collaborated on the site-specific show Sono Tornate Le Lucciole. She composed the soundtrack for the podcast Fuochi by Daria Corrias for RadioTre Rai. With her project Mumucs, she has participated in several festivals, including Dromos, Waves Festival, Signal Festival, Nuoro Jazz, Time In Jazz, Karel Music Expo, Bookolica, San Teodoro Jazz, Miniere Sonore, and Marina Café Noir.
