Photographer

Dario Coletti (Rome, 1959) has been a professional photographer and journalist since the late 1980s. He collaborates with newspapers, institutions, and humanitarian organizations both in Italy and internationally. Alongside his professional work, he is also dedicated to teaching, working with both public and private educational institutions. He is a lecturer and head of the Storytelling Department at the Nomad school and collaborates with research institutes and universities. Deeply engaged with social issues from the very beginning, he has developed a broader photographic approach that explores the relationship between photography and visual anthropology, while experimenting with other forms of expression such as documentary film, writing, graphic design, and drawing. His photographs are held in Italian libraries and museums. He has taken part in numerous exhibitions and authored many photography books on social, anthropological, and artistic themes. In 2024, he was awarded the Ennio Flaiano International Career Award for Photography.
