Massimo Cirri

He was born in Tuscany, and currently lives in Milan. He is a journalist and a psychologist. He has been working in a mental health service for twenty five years. Since 1997, he is the author and presenter of Caterpillar, a radio format on Radio2. He wrote for theatre with Lella Costa. Also, he wrote for Diario, Linus, Smemoranda, Tango and Playboy. He was a co-author of Via Etere (Feltrinelli 1988), Il mistero del vaso cinese (Sperling & Kupfer 1993) and Nostra Eccellenza (Chiarelettere 2008). He was a television writer on shows including Fuori Orario (Rai3 1987-88), Saxa Rubra (Rai3 1994) and Mitiko (La7 2006). In 2009, he published A colloquio. Tutte le mattine al Centro di Salute Mentale, edited by Feltrinelli. His latest work is Il tempo senza lavoro (Feltrinelli 2013), a book about the laid-off workers of the firm Eutelia, which focuses on unemployment, social assistance and class struggle.
