Simonetta Bitasi

Born in 1966, she graduated in Humanities at the University of Bologna with Ezio Raimondi. She has been writing about books and readings for the cultural sections of the Gazzette of Mantua, Reggio Emilia and Ferrara, for several newspapers such as Robinson and Liber and she was responsible of the GQ Italy book section for two years. She is one of the last editors of Garzantina di Letteratura (2007). She is an advisor of the Festivaletteratura programme in Mantua. Her job is reading and, as a wandering reader, she organizes book clubs and meetings in libraries, bookstores, cultural associations, cafés and private homes.
