MOOK

Mook creates and produces objects with recovered materials that become unique pieces made by assembling “worn by time” items. Decaying wood, old pieces of furniture, cloth, metallic parts of forgotten objects: all these things are put together by following the rules of artistic recycling and become sculptures and everyday objects. Mook was founded in 2000 by Carlo Nannetti and Francesca Crisafulli. They both live and work in Rome, the city in which they graduated, and now they are teachers at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED). Their artistic activity includes: sculpture, graphic art, illustration, design, and also the realization of workshops on art and recycling for children.

Mook have exhibited its works in several galleries and museums in Italy, doing one-man shows and group shows and it has worked with many Italian firms.
