Istituto Polacco di Roma

The Polish Cultural Institute in Rome founded in 1992, is a Ministero degli Affari Esteri’s corporation dealing with public and cultural diplomacy, whose aim is to spread Polish history and culture, as well as the promotion of the dialogue between Poland and Italy in terms of culture, education, research and social life. Some of the activities promoted by the Institute are exhibitions and film’s presentations, the organization of conferences, meetings, shows and concerts. In the past years, the Polish Institute has presented numerous events with artists, writers and intellectuals such as Wisława Szymborska, Ryszard Kapuścinski, Adam Michnik, Sławomir Mrożek, Tomasz Stańko, Leszek Możdżer, Rafał Blechacz, Marcel Łoziński, Zbigniew Rybczyński, Krzysztof Zanussi, Andrzej Żulawski, Józef Robakowski, Mirosław Bałka, Katarzyna Kozyra, Wilhelm Sasnal.
