Gaia Manzini

Gaia Manzini was born in Milan and currently lives in Rome. She wrote her first collection of short stories Nudo di famiglia (Family Nude) in 2009 (Fandango, finalist of the Chiara literary prize). In 2012 she published the novel La scomparsa di Lauren Armstrong (The Disappearance of Lauren Armstrong, Fandango) which was selected for the Strega literary prize and was finalist of the Rieti prize), whilst in 2014 Laterza published Diario di una mamma in pappa (Diary of a Mushy Mum). She is one of the authors of Mia madre (My Mother), directed by Nanni Moretti (2015). She works together with Treccani, Il and Nuovi Argomenti. Her novel Ultima la luce (The Light Last) was published by Mondadori this year.
