Eli Gottlieb

Eli Gottlieb has worked as a novelist, journalist, essayist and translator from Italian. His novels have won him the Rome Prize of the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and the Mckitterick Prize of the British Society of Authors, and been published in 14 languages. His most recent novel, Best Boy, won the 2017 Bridge Prize, an Italian-American literary award given to the best English –language novel not published in Italian. His last book is currently available in Italian from Minimum Fax, Un ragazzo d’oro (2018). He teaches creative writing in the Master’s Program of Columbia University. Photo ©Francesco Capponi
